Realiz\u00f3 su Post-Doctorado en la Universidad de Manchester, Inglaterra (1989-1990) bajo la supervisi\u00f3n del Dr. J.F.W. Deakin. Actualmente es Profesor Titular del Departamento de Farmacolog\u00eda de la Facultad de Medicina de Ribeir\u00e3o Preto de la Universidad de S\u00e3o Paulo. Tiene experiencia en el \u00e1rea de Farmacolog\u00eda, con \u00e9nfasis en Neuropsicofarmacolog\u00eda. Ya public\u00f3 124 trabajos en revistas de impacto internacional, 22 cap\u00edtulos de libro y 1 libro (en co-autor\u00eda). Orient\u00f3 16 disertaciones de maestr\u00eda, 10 doctorados (m\u00e1s dos co-orientaciones) y 2 post-doctorados.
