Biography<\/h4>\n
Dr. Del-Ben graduated in Medicine from Londrina State University (1988) and took Medical Residency in Psychiatry (1989 \u2013 1992) at Ribeir\u00e3o Preto Medical School Clinical Hospital \u2013 University of Sao Paulo. She obtained Master\u2019s (1995) and Doctoral degree (2000) in Medicine (Mental Health) from University of S\u00e3o Paulo ans took postdoctoral internship at the Psychiatry and Neurosciences Unit of Manchester University, United Kingdom (2002-2003). Coordinated the Mental Health Graduate Program of FMRP-USP (2004-2010). Currently Dr. Del-Ben is an associate professor of the Department of Neurosciences and Behavior from the Faculty of Medicine of Ribeir\u00e3o Preto of the University of S\u00e3o Paulo and the coordinator of FMRP-USP Medical Residency Program in Psychiatry. She has medical experience with emphasis on Psychiatry, and her main interest in research are Neurobiology of Anxiety and Emotion Processing, Psychiatric Emergencies and Neuroimaging and Diagnosis in Psychiatry.<\/p>\n
Areas of Interest<\/h4>\n
Research interests are the Neurobiology of Anxiety Disorders and Emotion Processing and the application of neuroimaging techniques to better understand the neural substrates involved in the Physiopathogeny of Mental Disorders. Also develops studies aimed to describe indicators of the organization and operation of services and practices in Mental Health, with emphasis on Psychiatric Emergencies as well as for the development and validation of assessment tools in psychiatry. More recently, has been conducting studies aimed at medical teaching.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
